What are your thoughts on these tools? Which one has been worth it to you, and for what reasons?

Comparing the 2, Long Tail Pro is likely a long term solution compared to Market Samurai. Market Samurai is one-time payment and will not be able to maintain new features forever while LTP is paid monthly to fund new features. Just my $0.02

I personally use Market Samurai and really like it. As, all of the features like Rank Tracker, Keyword Research, SEO Competition, Domains, Find Content, Publish Content and many more at one place.

Market Samurai has been around for years and people are still using it.

Scrapebox is the same payment-wise, and that's practically an essential.

I haven't used MS for years though, I now do my KW research with stuff like keywordshitter.com and keywordtool.io

I am also using Market Samurai and i really like it. It is a one-time-payment and for starting with keywordresearch activities it is a good tool in my opinion.

Thought I'd bump this back up as was about to start a similar thread myself.

Keyword research I don't use either for, I use other online free tools. But my current approach is this:

1) Add keywords to MS and check out the monthly searches and title competition. I've found that MS doesn't fetch back ALL keyword stats in one go. So I keep copying - pasting - deleting and then checking the remaining keywords again. I do this until I'm confident all keywords have been checked and the data has been returned

2) From the list of keywords that have survived the filter (search and title comp) I then put these into LTP

3) I let it run and then check them all for the 'Average KC'

4) Any that come up under 35-40 I'll consider ranking for.

So as things stand, I'm using them both.

But one mode of thinking is this: As LTP evaluates the top 10 results, is Market Sam actually needed at all? After all, it doesn't matter what the Title Comp is really, it's down to the Top 10 results as that's where you want to rank.

What's people's thoughts on the above?

Really helpful keywords search tool. But i have problem with title and description because I have my main keyword in it and Samurai shows me, that i don't have
