Market Samurai now useless, how can i manually check these things?

Hi guys,

i purchased Market samurai a few weeks ago and i thought it was brilliant at first, however after a short time they have now started to use Bing INSTEAD of Google to bring back certain results. This means i am getting bad results which are clearly not accurate. For example, putting in a keyword like "Insurance" will give me 0 competing websites. The values are just so inaccurate now.

So i need a way to check these values manually, and i dont know where to start:

• SEOC - SEO Competition - The total number of webpages that mention a specific keyword term, in the same (phrase) word order, in Google's index.
• SEOTC - SEO Title Competition - The total number of webpages that mention all of the words in a keyword term in the title of the page.

How can i check these manually in Google for a given keyword?

I use Stealth Competition analyzer for the title competition etc but for the backlink check, Header,Url optimization etc i still use MS.

The data is provides is reliable for those stuff.
