as you may know there is problem for market samurai in getting data from goo gal.
What do you guys use now for keyword research?

I depend more on the google keyword tool. Though the figures are not always reliable. Just a guide as to what I should do.

For keyword research I also use GKT and sometimes combined with insight.
I mainly use market samurai for rank tracking and seo competition checking.

Yeah G KW tool is a good reference. Figures are not always exact but there is something called 'probability' if you're a maths student :p

It will be fixed soon, i guess. MS update quite usually :-) Do you purchase full version?

you should wait for the best niche finder to be finished, it will probably be released in 2 weeks to jrvip, and then 1 week later to public...

http://thebestnichefinder.com/ sales page aint finished yes, as there is no need to be finished yet

just a quick sneak peak into software, final version will have 2x more features
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cNnv-cDarM

for those that want more info
What really sets this tool from other ones is the fact that it is so easy to use, yet so powerful.

All you do is click the brainstorm button and tool will add 25 keywords from our database, you can click it as many times as you want, then you press generate keywords button and wait for it to gather details of each keyword.

Once the process is finished you will see lots of keywords and all their details, you will be able to see global and local monthly search volume, average CPC, competition analysis, average back links, average PR and exact domain availability.

Global and local monthly search volume are gathered from the adwords tool and are estimates of how many searches does this keyword get per month

Average CPC is gathered from adwords too, and it will roughly tell you how much $ you will get from each click from adsense advertisement. the higher the CPC the better

Competition analysis will tell you how many results there are in google for that keyword, you can pick from allintitle: ( this will search for keyword in title) or from allinurl: (this will search for keyword in url) or from "qoutes" search, (this will list all results that have that keyword mentioned somewhere on their page). so the lower that this competition analysis number is, the easier you will rank for that keyword

average backlinks will gather all backlinks for top 10 google rankings for that keyword and calculate the average out of it, so that you can easily detect the best keywords that are really easy to rank for, obviously the lower number the better.

average PR will gather all page ranks for top 10 google rankings for that keyword and calculate the average out of it, so you can easily see which keywords will be easier to rank for, the lower the average page rank the better

and last but not least is the exact domain availability checker, this will let you know if there are any exact match domains available for your keyword.

but the good features dont stop there, you can also filter any of those tabs that we just went through, for example if you only want the program to show keywords that get minimum of 3,000 searches, you can easily do that with a click of a button, or if you only want 1$+ paying keywords thats not a problem either, or maybe you only want keywords that have maximum of 500 backlinks, everything is possible with our advanced filtering system.

But this is not the end of good features, if you have PRO version, then you will be able to get detailed top 10 google rankings information on any keyword with just a click of a button, so for example if you find some good keyword that has low average backlinks and low page rank and high search volume, then you just click a button and a window will pop up displaying detailed report about this keyword, you will be able to see first 10 websites for that keyword, their backlinks count to page and to domain, their pagerank count, their domain age and whether or not they are listed in DMOZ, you will also be able to see if their keyword is in title, description, url, h1 tag, and you will be able to see when was the last time that google crawled that site.

As you could see, we also have advanced colouring system build in this tool, that helps you at choosing the best keywords, so if you see lots of green's you will know that this keyword is easy to rank for, where if you will see lots of red's you will see that this keyword will be harder to rank for.

The whole process of finding good keyword usually takes only around 5 minutes, you can also get free trial so that you can see on your own eyes just how powerful this software is. take action now and get yourself free trial and find tons of untapped keywords just waiting for you to abuse them.

One really important thing to know is that you can run this software for days and days without interacting with it, its got build in proxy support that comes with 5 free proxies per day, and its got build in decaptcher support so all you do is click a button, let it run for few hours, and you will end up with thousands of untapped keywords that are very easy to rank for and highly profitable.

Another feature worth mentioning is keyword generator. this feature will generate more than 5000 keywords from one seed keyword, so for example if you want to find keywords on term cars, you would put that word in, and click start button, and wait for results to load, after some time you will get more than 5000 keywords all related to cars. then you can export these keywords into main tab to get all their details and find the best ones.

note: this is not any pre-sell or anything, its just something to make ur pants wet, and to inform you that you might want to save up some $$$ for this baby hehe :)

it will probably cost 77$ for lite version, and 137$ for pro version. there will also be limited trial to test it out

MS works fine for me. They've been updating regularly. Its the only paid tool I use, the other being the google kw tool. I wish people would stop blaming the tool and saying its dead every other day. Google is CONSTANTLY changing things up, they want to make things difficult. I've been using MS since 2008 and though I've tried other tools, It is the only one I've bought.

FYI, there is a free and paid version of traffic travis. The paid version is around $147. HOWEVER they are almost ready to release v 4.0

eh, i dont think its presell mainly for 1 reason, this program wont be out for another 2-3 weeks atleast :P its just something to wet ur pants lol :D

Market Samurai, never saw a program that's been supported so good.

Updates are always there and they don't wait like other company's till they fixed XX issues before releasing them.

Thumbs up.

MS works just fine for me. The updates get there reasonably fast. I like it so I guess that's why I finally bought it.

NO tool out there, now OR in future, is going to be "glitch free", NOT even the tool being presold on this thread that's supposed to make me "wet my pants".

I like using GKT when I just need a quick "general" read on some keywords. It's plenty good enough for that.

IMO, of course.
