Market samurai and rank tracker not working!!

market samurai is having server troubles and rank tracker just pick up google rankings for some reason. anyone else experiencing this with rank tracker?? also any alternatives that give accurate tracking info.

currently running a case study and this totally fked me up!

It has been down for ages now.

I too am frustrated with Market Samurai. It is completely dysfunctional now. Usually, they fix it within a few days. But this time, it has been down for about a week.

I too would be interested to know more about some some free rank trackers that I can use until MS is back up again.

Try Rank Tracker by Link Assistant, it works great. The free version will not let you save the data, though. :hmpf:

Check the market samurai blog for more details on their new pricing structure. They are basically about to rape us in the ass with expensive monthly fees because they don't want to offer free proxies anymore.

Market samurai is giving us the middle finger. They are now deciding to charge us a monthly fee to use the rank tracker. Also, it is now pulling research data from bing instead of google. Bing only has 30% of the market share, which is useless for most market research purposes.

Basically, these guys are wanting to stop having to pay for their proxy servers to pull this data from google.

And they are moving to the same business model as SEScout for rank tracking.

Let's see how much they are going to charge people.

And oh yea, they indicate that they have over 400,000 users. MS is sold for $97. $97x400,000 = $38.8 million. That's a bit of money...

I'm using my own private proxies and Market Samurai is working again for me. I'm trying to be more selective with the keywords I track though. Don't want to burn through these.

They are not having server issues, they just want to make as much money as possible and not give their faithful clients what they paid for; what's the point of their crappy, slow ass software now? I bought it as a one-off payment, now they are trying to stick it to us in order to get us on yet another monthly fee. F' em, I'm writing my own code to pull data from the Google API; and with my own proxy switcher, I have to pay 0 every month to check my rankings.

Middle finger to lying and deceitful corporate politics, ask Netflix how well that turned out for them when they decided to abuse their customers.
