Market Sam / SEO Question

I have got a fair few pages up at the top of google, but when looking at market samurai it states the pages dont have that many back links (opposed to my competitors)

I also have made many back links to these pages that are not indexed.

Could it be that google is aware of the backlinks but dont index them and market samurai does not show them in its stats..

Hope I have made myself clear

Market Sam is getting backlink data from Yahoo (because Google backlink counts are unreliable)

It could be that Yahoo is slow.
