Hey all,
In saturated niches, margins tend to shrink quickly once multiple sellers enter with similar products.
Do you think the better solution is stronger branding and positioning, or more aggressive supplier negotiation?
Curious how experienced members evaluate margin pressure in growing markets.

People with deeper pockets win the race in the end, unless you've mastered the branding and built a loyal customer base.
Amazon is the perfect example, they pick winning products, source them cheaper, buying huge quantities and sell them cheaper, killing all other sellers.

I'd lean toward branding and positioning. Supplier savings can help in the short term, but a strong brand is often what protects margins when competitors start selling similar products.
