I think they are fixing what they messed up in the last update.Google announced the March 2025 core update, share your ranking changes here.
I usually see big movements on spam updates, not the core ones but lets see.I think they are fixing what they messed up in the last update.
Now the helpful content updates are too scaryI usually see big movements on spam updates, not the core ones but lets see.
So, they're gonna mess something else this time?I think they are fixing what they messed up in the last update.
From my experience, when sites gets boost prior to update announcement, get tanked after. I hope is not your case.Curiously enough, my sites all got a boost a few days before Google started this update. It'll be very interesting to see if the continue to rise, or instead take a plummet.
I hope it doesn't either. Rather, I hope its been working over the last week or soFrom my experience, when sites gets boost prior to update announcement, get tanked after. I hope is not your case.

Yes, that's AI overview heavily affects the CTR for info type content. From my data a major google update started around 24th February. We track 500+ sites daily. We're been seeing a number of our sites drop out of from serps starting from the 24th. Yet no reported update.
I think Google have strategically released the AI overviews to coincide with March core update. Webmasters blame drop of traffic on core update as opposed to real reason of AI overview stealing your content and removing all need for the user to visit your site.
As if ranking #1 actually means anything anymore, thanks to [AI overviews][sponsored ads][featured snippets][sponsored ads][frequently asked questions][sponsored ads][forum posts][sponsored ads][social boxes][sponsored ads][google business pages][sponsored ads]
