many scammers on freelancer . c om

Hi,Bill,I've tried BHW market place for youtube views/press release and some other services.Surely I can get the commitment delivered,as same as at fiverr . c om.

That's not about standing on BHW or on fiverr.I'm stating a fact:

At fiverr, you get the job done at first, other wise fiverr will REFUND the money you paid in advance. The payment is held and monitered by the third party--the fiverr . com.And it's mandatory:at fiverr you can not release the payment to seller before you get seller's report. That's the difference between fiverr and BHW which buyer release the payment DIRECTLY to sellers.I think fiverr's scheme is the trend.Taobao . com is another successful platform which has the same payment pattern as fiverr.

And Bill, you know when people get in the beginning phase, they tend to try cheaper and safer things instead of more expensive ones.
However, fiverr and BHW MP is complementary I think.Surely I can not buy the world from fiverr,I never expect it.

Regarding the payment pattern, I think this issue has been debated earlier on BHW already. BHW administration don't want to get into managing payment transactions as its a totally different ball game all together, there are lot many things involved, when processing money gets involved like security, fraud detection and stuff. It might become become a total nightmare and will need dedicated resources/team of highly skilled engineers to run and manage that.

Thats the reason they probably dont want to get into payments/transactions happening between members. But the marketplace offers you a very secure way of doing business as you wont ever get ripped off, no one can just scam you and run away with your money like they do in freelancer.com

I got scammed on Freelancer the other day. I hired a coder to code a bot for me to do really simple things...Only difference is I didn't release the milestone and we're currently in a Dispute.

I think there was a thread on BHW where the CEO of freelancer gave comments and apology to those who were scammed, actually it was a sort of a Q&A thread. Hopefully I can find it again.
So did you try hiring freelancers from other sites like Odesk or Staff.com after that? I hope that was not the end of everything, many people will take advantage of this platform and I think what happened to you was only an isolated case.

Bill got my vote.
Good price = Fiver
Good service = BHW BST.

Well if you get scammed here in BHW, you can always post a shitlist and call up the other member. Its much better than creating support tickets on freelancer.com or any other site for that matter, way better, cause support staff never give a shit and support staff work with support staff mentality, your issue has least importance for them.

One of our Mods then actively gets into sorting the matter(FOR FREE), they don't get anything for it, they just do it to keep the community clean and healthy.

The matter gets resolved either by a full or partial refund or the member gets a permanent ban from bhw.

I see the BHW model much better and mutually healthy for honest commerce. What they are trying to do here is a create a community of trusted members where members buy/sell to/from each other without the fear of getting scammed by any anyone. Sellers wont risk of getting themselves banned so they will not indulge in scamming. Buyers will have a steady access to large variety of sellers who can be trusted by the community, so its a win win for both parties.

If anyone scams you, you can shitlist him and get him banned from using this community as a whole. Isn't it much better than opening support tickets and waiting for a support staff who doesn't give a shit about you to reply to your issue and get your money back

Same thing on here and everywhere else! Be careful who you put trust in.....
