Does anyone have experience regarding keeping all the back office on one GSC account?
I have 300 domains and am wondering if it will be healthy to hook them up to one Google Search Console account.
Are there any restrictions from Google in relation to this?
Has anyone observed a negative impact of this solution?

I have about a thousand GSC accounts, and I limit each one to 30 domains. it’s just a backup plan in case I can’t access an email later on. That way, I can easily move them since it’s only 30 domains per account, and it doesn't take much time to switch them to another GSC if the first one has issues

I understand your point.
But do you know the answer to the question: does maintaining several hundred domains in one Google Search Console account negatively affect the positions of these sites? These are backend pages - themed blogs that we use for SEO.

I don't think there are any negative impacts, it's just that it's hard for us to monitor it. No negative impact :)

I wouldn't connect more than 10 domains to an account

It won’t negatively impact your sites, and there’s no limit to adding domains in Google Search Console. So, there’s no need to worry about that.

Yes you can manage many domains in one gsa. There are no limits from google, however 300 domains might be hard to handle in one account, you can organize them or split them into separate accounts if needed, just check each domain’s performance regularly

Organise by niche, and add each into seperate GSC's.

300 under one account would be on hell of a mess!

If you want to submit some of your pages in GSC for indexing manually, it might become an issue because Google has a limit on daily submissions (usually around 10 per GSC account)

It's funny you mention this. I have over a 1000+ websites stored into one single GWA. I've always believed that being open would grant you. Yes in a certain way it does, if you have certain authority in some niche you will see a slight advantage.

But; if you have domains, that compete for the very same, you'll notice that one goes up there with not a lot of effort and the 2nd one seems to be a bigger issue. A while ago, i had 2 domains pointing to the same topic(s) - that 2nd domain got cancelled some time ago, and now domain 1 is suddenly growing in traffic for no reason, other then one left the building and the other is filling or taking up the space it did not do before that.

My idea is - it's a big pizza, and you get to have a portion of a slice. Everything stored under one account does have advantages, but also disadvantages if you ask me (above situation).

I don't think it'll directly affect the sites ranking but when there's a manual action on one domain, chances that another domain on the same account could be reviewed and possibly penalized is there.

Look at it this way, if you're using a specific method Google isn't comfortable with to rank site A, wouldn't you use it to rank other sites?

Now, when Google decides to manually review site A and you make it easy for them to see sites B, C, D and so on, under the same GSC. I think it'll be easier to have them manually reviewed and penalized if need be.

Finally, I haven't had that much sites at the same, so I really can't give you personal experience.
