I do something similar, but not on a large scale, mostly for karma farming and subs. Here's what you need to know:
1. Immediately after you post, write a few comments (3-5) from your other accounts. Reddit will pick up your post, and you'll notice significantly higher traffic than posts where you haven't done so.
2. Upvotes should also be added immediately. If your content is interesting, a cascade effect will kick in, and people will start upvoting it more actively, which will also help it move up in search results. (Use relevant subs with a live audience for this; promoting your post in a small sub without subscribers will be much more difficult.)
3. Don't do this en masse; Reddit will see a pattern, and you could lose several of your accounts, or even the account with the post.
4. If you plan to keep your content in search results for a long time, you can use an upvote boosting service, but do it wisely and avoid placing a large number of upvotes at once. Spread the boosting over several days, 3-5 upvotes every hour. This significantly reduces the likelihood of your content being removed. This way, I was able to boost my comments to 1,000 upvotes without them being deleted.
