Manual penalty ... what the hell to do?

Well, I ordered from a service here 40 links with PA/DA, order was finished on 19 june. But I'm not sure if those links are the problem. 2 months ago the competition blasted the fuck out of one of my niches (the site is multi-niche btw), and got me around 2500 backlinks on that niche. I disavowed those links back then, but I'm not sure if google disavowed them or not.

What should I do...? :( I feel like shit because this is my multi niche site, micro niches ... and I worked literally for over 7 months on this, manual work ...

Thanks!

EDIT:

Also I looked at Manual actions, shows this:

And then you can take a look at this kind of penalty: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2604772?ctx=MAC

It says "However, because we realize that some links may be outside of your control, we are not taking action on your site's overall ranking. Instead, we have applied a targeted action to the unnatural links pointing to your site."

Any ideas?

It means you've been penalized for only the keywords that those links target. So - burn your site, and start again.

Agree with others, best way to start with new domain, recover domain from penalty it is pain in the ass))

Don't even spend a minute for re-consideration or recovery. Drop the site OR keep site for Yahoo-bing traffic. and start new with experience.

So this means that the rest of the posts from my site won't be affected right?

This is why I don't trust any SEO providers here on BHW, Fiverr, or anywhere else. Too many horror stories and so little actual success. The ones that do post success stories could be friends of the SEO provider giving fake reviews.

same happened to me, ordered the wrong service and got destroyed. It's best to start over.

herp derp order from a blackhat forum herp derp why I get penalized derp

You first say you order high authority links (I'm guessing a blog network) then say you built all manual links working 7 months on the site... Which is it? If you ordered a blog network, that's most likely the root cause of the problem. Google has been very aggressive at flagging public BHW networks.

I got a manual penalty. I tried removing the bad links 4 times. Finallly I said fuck it and disavowed every single link. Then the manual action got lifted. But my site is at #100 so it is still like on some kind of penalty. I would start over and keep an eye on the other one but dont count on it.

Yea even after removing the links and getting the penalty lifted there is some kind of sandbox. The site never ranks again like it used to IME.

If its a domain name you want to keep, like a brand or something, just buy another TLD of the domain and move all its content there. Get the links you bought removed and ask for a reconsideration, then 301 the old to the new. Worked like a charm for me to get my brand ranking again.

Heres my journey about it. I was trying to rerank the penalized domain, and just wound up moving it to a new TLD of the brand name: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...lized-domain-back-top-google-500-per-day.html

Well? Any ideas guys? I have like 30 niches on this site, and only one got spammed.

Anyone that tells you to burn your site is full of crap, unless your site isn't worth anything then I would agree. Ditch the site. But for the rest of us that aren't building low quality churn and burn sites and real businesses online and offline we NEED to recover the sites rankings. We've built brands and can't simply "start over".

I've recovered from quite a few penalties and the only way to do so is to remove backlinks, especially those over-optimized and unnatural links pointing to the site. Disavowing all the links isn't the right approach either. It comes down to link removal and targeted removal on links that Google knows are unnatural. You will want to document the process of the removals as well. Your goal is to show Google you fixed the problem, that you know you screwed up, and that you won't do it again. It's really that simple.

It's really not hard to remove links these days, there are services like http://linkdelete.com who will do everything for you. I've used them with success in the past to remove penalties from sites that were penalized from crappy link services that I shouldn't of bought. I know better now and know what I need to do in the future.

I don't know about you guys but I'm not willing to throw away businesses and sites making $x,xxx - $xx,xxx a month for a petty unnatural link warning that can easily be fixed for a few hundred dollars.

I would start from scratch, on my experience, recovering from a penalty is a very dificult task, if you recover soon just feel very lucky, because is dificult to happen.

When you loose a website, you have to create a new to replace the old one. Just leave the old one waiting some months in order to recover. If it does not recovers, you have a new one strugling again.

Good luck

+1 for what TheLinkGuy said. You have to to the best of your powers get the backlinks removed. Otherwise people could just spam, and disavow and spam again etc.
