Manual Penalty Revoked. Now what?

Ok. So I have 2 domains that, after a reconsideration request, have been revoked. The problem I am facing now is this: how to get them ranking again? I had to remove a lot of content due to low quality, but have put up new content for a while now. It seems the old urls are still indexed in Google, or re-indexed so to speak. What would the best plan of action be for now?

If you want to get it back as it was before then you have to wait long time get the results of your work. Mean while you should concentrate on your further development of your site.

Thanks for the tips guys. I am working on getting fresh quality content and will focus on getting only high PR links to my site. Will try to diversify my backlink profile too.
