If I manually post/link to web 2.0s, social bookmarks, wiki's etc. Is IP diversity still an important factor? If it is how can i diversify my IP? thx in advance.

By IP diversity people mean the server/domain IP, not your comment posting IP :)

Google gives less relevance to a backlink if it's coming from the same server, even if that server hosts multiple domains.

So ur saying that if i used my reddit account to post links to multiple pages on my site, that those links would be less relevant because they are coming from the same server?

If those links come from the same Class C IP, then they would be less valuable, rather than less relevant. So the push up the rankings wouldn't be so strong, if any at all. Other benefits are probably intact.

How on earth would they come from the same server unless YOU built the sites and they are all your own? Sounds odd.
