I have a question regarding T1 links. I try to get as many kind of links that bring power to my MS as possible. I know of PBNs and manually build web20. My question is what other sort of links it is worth getting. Especially those which can be gained for free and not with automated tools. Not an easy start for someone with a low budget ;)

If I focus on getting profile and bookmark backlinks - will it bring any power to my website? I know a lot of sites where you can create a profile for free and place a backlinks to your site. I assume that those links would be d0follow and coming from authority sites.

Also since I am not into automated tools is it actually worth building web20? I read that such subdomains have no power at all and are treated like a new domain so I would need to build links to them, correct?

Bookmarks are good for diversity, but no real power.

My understanding is the only links which provide juice come from pages where there are 500+ words and your link is in the body.

Blog comments, bookmarks, directories are for diversity.

Some directories can help with local, but that's another topic.

I also have this question. The keyword competition seems to be important. With a ultra-low competition keyword I have gotten onto page 2 with only blog comments, reddit links, and 4000 word article(on site optimization) .

I have 10 aging web 2.0s, so soon I will put money links on those and manually create 10 t2 links for each

Anyways it seems like the lower the keyword competition the easier it is to track the results of tests

Alot of people also talk crap about automated link building, while others swear by it--super confusing
The only way to find out the truth will be to buy gsa ser and build 10 sites for different strength keywords(once I have money to buy it x))

Hey mate:

Try to build diversified links - Web 2.0, Forum, Profiles, Tier 1, Tier 2, Blogs, Articles, Wikis, Edu links and so on from high DA websites (mix of ******** and nofollow).

Publish quality articles with 800-1000 words and soon, you will see the magic of link juice.

Cheers,
Steve Parker

I used to use nothing but automated SER links but that doesn't seem to work anymore. I have a fair few pages climbing the ranks in my BHW journey thread that use RX for T1 and SER. That being said I have decided to move over to a manual T1 of web 2.0s, profiles and social bookmarks from a BST seller here. Due to putting so much work his way with my latest round of projects he was nice enough to give me a 10% discount code available in my digital toolkit post.

Personally, I am trying the manual web 2.0s as a stable contextual link base for T2/3 link building and the manual social bookmarks and profiles as anchor text diversification and to help increase the reffering domains to the site rather than to actually pass power.

Diversity of domains is key - nofollow and ********. Then bring in the big guns -- exact match HQ PBNs that you built yourself . 3-6 month process imho

So if I understand right your T2/T3 will still be made with Gsa ser? And T1 all manual

Or is manual T2/T3 even possible?

I have different set ups, some has RX for T1, some has manual T1, some have just SER for T1, some have RX, some have RX and SER and so on.

It's best to do manual linking by diversifying your backlinks. Consider guest posts, pbn, press releases, web 2.0s, web directories, forum links, blog comments, bookmark sites.

Link building techniques are Blog commenting, forum posting, press release, blog submission, articles, PPT, PDF, Video sharing.
