What niche and country? Some markets are way harder to build links in manually, buying might be your only real option there.

Healthcare in Gulf is tough, buying niche edits on Arabic health sites is probably your best bet, just vet them properly before paying.

Offer them a written testimonial or case study in exchange, most site owners will happily add a link for that.
Use Ahrefs or Semrush, search a broad keyword in your niche, export the ranking domains, then filter by language and DR. Screaming Frog can help too if you want to crawl specific sites.

Manual link building feels tough because real outreach takes time patience and a lot of ignored emails but that’s exactly why it still works since most people give up early and if you stay consistent target relevant sites and personalize your pitch the long term authority gains are usually worth the grind

manual is slow but safer if done right. buying random links wont fix it if niche is weak

Manual link building in another country takes time, so slow results are normal. Buying links can help, but focus on high-quality, relevant ones. A mix of outreach and a few strong paid links works best.

Yes buying backlinks is faster, however, if google catches up on you you are at risk of getting your website/blog flagged. Also manual backlinks take some time to get indexed so what you're experiencing is normal.
