Manual follow unfollow method

What's your method for F/U? For example if following 40 accounts a day, do you wait 5 days and then unfollow 40? Or if you only unfollow those who don't recipricate - how do you track this manually?a

Hit 6k followings for some time then unfollow all at the same time.
 
I did a bot for my own needs, though the changes in the last few days seem to have hindered it.

Starts with unfollowing. Everyone who hasn't followed me back in 36 hours is unfollowed. Former followers who have unfollowed me are dealt with in the same manner.

After that, it's a fresh batch of leads. Following a random number of people between 25-40.

Repeats two-three times a day, between 10AM and 6PM.

As mentioned, got some errors in the last few days, probably need to wait and then further reduce numbers.
 
One of the bests way to take control of that trick is to have an app like Followers Assistant, manage who follow/unfollows you easily.

Would using an app like Followers Assistant get you shadowbanned, or does it merely track f/ufs?
 
i get AB all the time using those apps

its impossible to automate unfollows via app

some of them do let you click the user and it opens up in IG to manual unfollow

but that shit is too tedious for me
 
I do 20-30 per hour until I hit around 2,000 following. Then, I unfollow everyone that I don't want to still follow. These days, I don't worry if anyone is following or not because automation is largely dead and it's much harder to tell if someone unfollowed you.
