how often do you build manual blog comments to your money/authority site

Blog comments are best used on higher tiers and not directly pointed at money sites. But if you really must include them, then stick with higher quality and limited in numbers.

I actually have done few tests with blog comments and they suck.

You can use blog comments to diversify your link profile or to drive traffic to your site( but for this you have to find sites that have lot of traffic to being with ).

Just like with motiursumon, I don't pay attention to the number. When I get bored, I stop.

Hi
I would recommend you to make comments permanent. It's important. If you will do it rarely (50 comments in one day and nothing in another) it will be unnatural. So put 3-5 comments every day and it will be ok.

Just comment when its worth and do it if you have a good and noticeable things to say.

Don't look for numbers. Its all about what you are going to comment it should be meaning full . You can comment up to 10 if your comments looks natural..

From what I've experienced they are still good to rank however they take a loooooong time to show any effects, tooks me 3 weeks to see any effect at all

Dear,
If a person does manual backlinks then he would know whether the backlinking is going to be excessive, therefore rely on your gut feeling rather than devising a patent formula for number of backlinks to be done in a day.
