I've found out something of interest to local search SEOs

There's an online course available from 27th to 30th September 2012 - then it will be pulled

Course will teach how to make changes to Google maps for SEO of local businesses

Maybe somebody can take the course and share it with others?

I just tried to change a business name and approved it with 2 other accounts. The change isn't live yet.

I'm sure in the video he specifically said not to do that yet as there are steps to take first!

He said just make some changes to non-commercial stuff in your own local area first, and the course will take you through the commercial stuff

He runs several courses per year

I'm sure he says on the video that this is new, and never talked about by anyone

I'm sure all the courses fit together like a jig-saw for full SEO - but I see this as being usable as a one-off strategy on its own

Chad Kimball Google Maps Elite Expert here... fyi I took the video down so I wanted to update this thread (it still gets visitors believe it or not) please don't do this...
