When they show Football in the local pub I sit with my back to the screen.
However, when MU plays I turn around to watch.
I suppose you can call me MU fan! ;)

Thought on recent Van Persie signing?

Some pundits are saying they overpaid for him, IMO he's a good addition to an already ailing scoring unit when Rooney has his droughts every now and then.

Not a good start to the new EPL season as United go down at Everton 1-0

RvP came off the bench to play 20 minutes plus but by then the game was lost!

    SAF was not happy

Van Persie, United's big summer signing from Arsenal, was brought on for the last 22 minutes with his side trailing to a goal from the excellent Marouane Fellaini. However, the 29-year-old did not register a shot on target as United failed to threaten Tim Howard's goal in search of an equaliser and Ferguson admitted they lacked a cutting edge.

"We played around him too much, we didn't show enough penetration,'' said Ferguson. With Robin in your team you know you want to use his ability against centre-backs in situations he is very good at - but we didn't use him enough.''

Is this the game where the men wear skirts, lock arms around each other and kick each other in the shins? Or the one where they run around kicking a ball, and only score every 3rd or 4th game?

Will the BHW people be cheerleaders? Do we get to wear big foam hats that look like pieces of cheese?

    Southampton 2-3 Manchester United

Paul Scholes bosses the midfield in stellar cameo display of spraying passes all over the park

Robin van Persie hits his first hat trick for Manchester United

Robin van Persie on Paul Scholes - quote...
"I need to say a big thank you to Paul Scholes, because when he came on everything was ticking and every single pass he hit was the right one"

    That's really really sad.
You should support your own team and not hope that one of the rival teams players gets injured, I feel sorry for you, it just shows that you're not a real football supporter.

Man United will not win the league this year because of a very simple reason: they don't have a Belgian playing in their team, all the other top teams have at least one :p
I don't really have a favorite team in England but I always enjoy a good attacking game so the last few years that was mostly Arsenal, Spurs or Man city.
I'm a big Juve fan myself.
