Managing/storing footprints for scraping

I'm currently using Excel for this, but it's far from ideal. Given the sometimes massive size of the lists, and the need to add, remove, and compile footprints, this is often a task that is much more difficult than it needs to be.
How do you all manage and store your footprints for scraping search engines?

excel take a lot of time in processing. Have you tried doing with txt file?

I have. My main problem with text editors is that I can't add and compile lists of footprints together easily.
