managing a separate YT account for testing bots?

Hi Guys,

I'm just getting my feet wet with trying to generate youtube view. I have a number of techniques that I want to experiment with. Im thinking of creating a new youtube account to experiment with botting. But, I dont want to get all my current YT accounts banned if say YT decides to ban the account that I'm using the bots on. What precautions can I take to sandbox my boting account from my other 'real' accounts? I dont want all my accounts banned beacuse im using bots on one account?

How does YT know which all accounts belong to the same user? If log in through an elite proxy would that help?

Hi, from my experience, YouTube doesn't look much into your other accounts. Only way they could really know is if your all channels are monetized and share the same adsense account but even then, unless your a fully branded partner they don't usually look into that.

I've had channels in the past terminated, but one by one for different reasons, not because they found out i had others. Technically once YouTube terminates one of your channels, you are pretty much banned forever. If they find out you have more, they can terminate them at anytime. But like i said, it's really rare for that to happen unless you are really infamous or doing something obviously stupid. Just play safe and be smart about it. YouTube definitely has a lot more things to worry about then looking into other accounts.

You don't have a clue. The OP is talking about HACKING and BOTTING. Try that from an account on a computer with one ip, and when that account gets terminated, see how long your other accounts accessed from that same computer/ip lasts. It won't be long.

To the OP, your safest bet is to get a VPS for the job. Create your new YT acct from that VPS and only access that acct from that VPS. Never use your home pc to access that new acct and never use the VPS to access your other older accounts. You'd be surprised at what G knows about you, they have their claws in every corner of the web, so keep it safe if your older accounts are important to you.

Chris7up- no I do not have any monetizing setup through my YT accounts...not yet!

I would rather not risk my personal account for playing some black hat tricks...like Dark Lord mentioned...think Im going to play safe with a vps account...thankfully I already have a vps account that I use for forex trading may be that could be my testing sand box!
