I have nothing but contempt for Man City. They just bought the title and this kind of thing is destroying football at its very foundation.

The FA should have a maximum salary cap of 25k per week fro any Premier league player and get the sport back to its grass roots.

Case in point: Wayne Rooney, a born Evertonian. His dream was to play for Everton. As soon as he was offered a fat pay deal that everton could not match, he jumps ship and turned his back on his own team.

Pretty soon all the top players in the world will be playing for 5-6 teams in Europe. And half won't even see regular playing time.

Man Utd midfield is terrible. If Fergie knew he wasn't going to use Berbatov this season why on earth didn't he sell him when he was coming off his best year ever? Now his market value has to have decline but Utd should still sell Berbatov and buy a real CM.
