Sign up for a free VOIP landline number in the area of your choosing. Its Free to receive calls, you only get charged for making calls. This then downloads a small application called Soft-Phone that you use to receive the calls to that number (just use a headset with Mic).
Also handy feature if you don't have the software running, people can leave you a voice mail message which is emailed to you as a .WAV file
