Malware Bytes or Search & Destroy ?

Hi Friends,

Getting up to date on my Security. I have been using Search and Destroy for years...and Malware Bytes too. I find that sometimes, one program will find spyware when another won'tDoes anyone find a conflict between these 2 programs?

• Are they both doing the same thing...?
• Opinions / Thoughts ?

You can't go wrong with Malwarebytes. I have been using it
for several years and it has saved my ass several times.

I use malwarebytes and avast internet security.
even i have problems like you.
i can't say it as a conflict between 2 installed programs.may be because of detection techniques.

I have both of these programs, they do not conflict... Definitely great programs to have if you have had owned your computer for a couple of years.

Never used Search and Destroy, however Avast + Malwarebytes is a good combo.

Search & Destroy is freaking annoying, and i've read it isn't that good.

Go with pro version of malwarebytes + avast imho

Comodo anti virus program. and malwarebytes + super anti spyware as a back up. But nothing gets past Comodo anyway

i no the guys who developed m/bytes from a pal talk tech room from many years ago
always use it, reliable, free and payed version

I use both the programs without any conflict. Malwarebytes is very effective for malware, rogue script detection and removal. Spybot S&D is very effective for removing spyware / adware.

Yes...i agree. MB and SD work for me. Just thought there my be double work happening but i think they both pick up different malware, spyware programs.

Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware.

Use both of those and you will be good.

Malwarebytes still lacks some intelligence, I would go for both.
