Making Your Own Product

I always hear that making your own product in the IM niche is the best way to make money , but how is it done? I'm not asking for you to tell me exactly step by step how to create a product, but is their any special skills you need to have or could a newbie who know the basics do it also?

and whats the basic outline of it all?

I hope someone could help me out a little thanks...

most of the time when peoples saying that refer to '' create '' your own tools / scripts / code & rent ( or sell ) to others ...

Anything can be written into a guide that you can sell online. All you have to do is think of something that you think people will buy then start writing about it, anything you like, as longs as its got a good title it will probably sell somewhere.

There's actually a right way and a wrong way to go about it. Most people, unfortunately, do it the wrong way and end up not making many (if any) sales when they launch.

As a side question how do you stop someone from stealing your content and re-marketing it as their own. I have a pretty good thing I could create but I am afraid if I put the time into it someone would take said PDF's and re sell them

This. My impression is that if you're not ready for a product launch then don't launch at all. By product launch day you should have made friends with influential people in the forums or websites you're gonna launch into. Otherwise it will just get buried. If the top people don't vouch and promote your product, no matter if it's good, how would the potential customers know that your product is as good as your word? How would they know that you wouldn't just disappear once you get the money?

While support from the top people, read:gurus does not necessarily mean that you have a good product. It gives you some form of social clout. Sounds like a WSO in the making but if its sales you want, when in rome...
