I'll help a brother out.
1) You can't use GSA without a captcha solving software. GSA is going to post to as many platforms as it can using it's automation. Be it blog comments, forum profiles, etc. Most of these posting require captcha solving. I recommend GSA Captcha Breaker, it's pricey but it works.
2) You can start with 10 semi/dedicated proxies from buyproxies.org. Used them since day 1, works great. Learn what you can about the software before you upgrade on the proxies.
3) Do check up quality campaign building in the GSA forum to learn how to set up your campaigns. It will help alot when you are starting out.
4) It helps indexes your tier 2 because you are sending links to your tier 1. For example, your tier 1 could be an isolated contextual link. It's hard to index these kinda things simply because g00gle can't find them, no sites are linking to it.
By building links using GSA, you make it easier for g00gle to crawl the isolated contextual link by following the tier 2 links you made such as blog comments.
