making seo reports

I have 4 seo clients now (largely thanks to this site) and ranking page one for most keywords. My question is, what are you using to make reports for clients? Obviously I'm giving them rankings but I don't like just giving them a spread sheet with all kinds of links and being like "this is what ive done". any softwares or suggestions to break down so they will understand more and see what they are paying for? any suggestions would be appreciated.

What you are doing is good but best ranking reports are generated by paid tools mostly. So I guess keep with what you have.

Really if all you need to show them is rankings just prettify an excel spreadsheet with colors and column/row headings and you're golden. If you add other metrics add another page and throw on some charts. A paid tool for displaying results shouldn't be necessary

I'm using Rank Ranger because I can create a really nice set of reports that auto-send to my clients on the schedule I set - and not just rankings, but also website analytics, competition info, etc. I also have a couple of clients who don't want to receive PDF reports, they want to see everything online and Rank Ranger has a portal that lets me add my logo and send my clients a link to log in and see the reports I've created for them in real-time, any time they want. Saves me time and makes my small business seem larger. They have a free trial. I started with their $20 package and have upgraded as my business has increased.
