I have read a lot articles lately about making a profit from betting and i really think this can be possible.If you treat betting like an investment it can be profitable.My latest bets have turned me a nice ROI so i decided to share this with you guys and maybe later i will start a service for all to beat the bookies!
My strategy is to bet 10-20% of starting bankroll each bet.
Starting bankroll:1000 points.

Are you talking about arbitrage betting?
 
10-20% of your bankroll of each bet is way too high. No legitimate article online will advocate that.
 
When starting it can seem that you can get high ROI (e.g. you had 1k bankroll and with your aggressive strategy pulled some amount). We would consider it if you'd show consistent profit for at least a year following your described way, but to be fair I doubt it is achievable.
 
I bet you will lose all your money doing that. :D
 
The bookies always wins.. have you ever seen a bookmaker go bust? I haven't. I enjoy this topic though, and I bet regularly.. calculated bets based on statistics can be profitable, but there is no sure thing, it just takes a bad run to wipe you out.
 
give it up, if you make over 2k your account will be shut down. i did match betting with rugby, and they dont like you winning i had account with william hill, bet fred, ladbrokes, soon as you hit 2 k, your get message saying suspicious activity in your account, goodbye, i also did betfair poker where me and 4 pals all sat round same table on poker hooked up to skype and we would rinse the guys by knowing who had highest hand, same thing we all got banned.

Nope if i were you i would invest the money into something else, betting it's too risky been there done that,read this forum, there are tons of methods to make money online. I say it again betting it's to risky,even if you manage to make some profit from it you only need one single mistake and you will lose all of your money.
 
I suggest you to use a bitcoin based sports betting website. You can find few trusted ones on the net. Second: You will lose either way.. sooner or later.

I know its possible man.Maybe i should think again about stakes or i should play less bets.
 
The only ways to win with sports bets on the long run are:

a) fixed games
b) exploiting on odds disproportion (extremely hard to achieve, i would rather give up)

Nothing like betting on blackjack or the stock market eh....

Blackjack is five to seven times more profitable and 1/7 to 1/5 less risky than the stock market.

Come to think of it, all investment is a gamble....

I think football betting its 100x better than the stock market.You just have to find a good investment.Also Live-Betting gives you hell advantages..[FONT=arial, sans-serif-light, sans-serif][/FONT]

I was raised in Las Vegas, Nv. There were a large number of people that thought they could be professional gamblers; just like there are people that think they can be professional investors. The losers far outnumber the winners.
