Making money with Tumblr

Hi there!

I have set up a Tumblr blog (it's an adult blog btw) and now it's getting quite some traffic . Over 160 people a day according to Google Analytics and around 400 notes a day. I've set it up two weeks ago and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. I have made a few bucks with ******* but I was wondering if there was a way of making more money with your Tumblr blog. I do have a .tk domain name set up to it so that works fine for now.

P.S. My English might be a little bit hard to understand because I'm Dutch so English isn't my best language.

Add some dating/adult affiliate offers that offer you a PPS or PPC.

Yeah I'd recommend ***********, I used them before very briefly but it actually worked really well. Also, your English is a lot better than most (even some who have it as their first language) lol.

Edit: Guess I'm not allowed to say it, so I actually wouldn't recommend it!

I think the best way to start is to get some hosting, a domain and set up a wordpress blog. It's just a matter of time until the banhammer will come and everything is lost.
Then monetize your website with plugrush, juicyads, crakrev etc and drive traffic to it with your tumblr blog

Yea I've saw those and this is what I came up with:
1. I made a few blogs and put my juicyads ads on them.
2. I downloaded a lot of pictures and uploaded them via picloadr
3. I use ******* for all of my links
The money I've made is:

*******: 0.72$
Juicyads: 0.55$
Total: 1.27$ which isn't bad for a few days with only one blog I post content to.

P.S. Should I make a journey out of this?

Yes you can put adsense on your blog

Adsense is not allowed on adult niche. did you put juicy ads directly on tumblr blogs?

ya juicy ads and such on your tumblr blog directly will get you banned fast
best way to go is to make self hosted website and direct all traffic to it

So i decided to make a journey so I'm going to start a new thread which is bigger and better and where I'm also going to use blogger, my own websites, plugrush and pin sites.

I have 60k+ followers on Tumblr and analytics shows about 700 visits per day. I post kissing and romantic pics. No nudes so it doesn't fall under adult category.
I have been using mylikes since a month and I earn around $8-12 per day. Surely there must a better way to monetize this much traffic?

You made the right choice. Start building up more and more tumblr blogs and get a nice tumblr bot to automate all the queuing. Redirect all your traffic to your adult site and BOOM $$$ will start coming in

Get ready for the heart-break. .tk is nothing more than a scam. Once you start getting a little more traffic, the domain will be redirected to ads and you account will be banned. Happened to me way many time when I started. Better you go with a cheap .info domain.

Secondly, don't put ads directly on your tumblr blog. You will lose all sources of income when the blogs are banned. As recommended by other members, start a website/blog and direct all your tumblr traffic to it. More the blogs, better will be your earnings.

Lastly, try setting up few adult, yet non-nude, tumblr blogs (without NSFW) and use them with MyLikes. Yes, they shave a lot, but when your blogs reaches around 1.5k to 2k followers (minimum), you'll start earning at least around $2 a day. Basically, $2 from a single blog. Moreover, everything's automated. Just make around 20 to start with. Initially it'll take a little effort and time to get them to 2k followers (around 2-3 weeks). But, then onwards you'll start earning followers on daily basis. Now, you're at $40 a day. Remember, a lot depends upon your net speed. For me, I invest one hour a day to main queues for 13 blogs. Easily makes over $40+ a day. All have over 6k followers (biggest one with 15.7k).

Lastly, stay away from dating offers. From my experience, I conversion rate is too low. Just around 3-4 conversions a day max. On few occasions you won't even earn a single conversion for the entire day. Anways, it was my experience. Try it if you want. Who knows it may turn out to be biggest source for you.

It's better to build your website on Wordpress instead of Blogger. You can install sever plugins that can automate the process. You can also sell ad spaces from Juicyads when your blog becomes popular.

bryanmoneey Yeah, I'm going to put Wordpress on my domain name but I am using blogger so ifttt can automatically upload all my Tumblr pics to there, and that gives me free traffic!

Did you try following people on Tumblr, or do you just upload the images and leave them there?

I think you will get more traffic if you follow people.

Shadexpwn, yes I follow around 200 people each day. My Google Analytics had been turned off because I switched themes but it is up and running again.
