Hello all,
I have a question regarding a market in DeepWeb. One of my internet acquaintance wants to open a market and I have some questions about it.
How were the markets taken off the net in the past? What "mistakes" have they made?
Can you "see" the server if you are behind a .onion address or can you connect to the server with this .onion address e.g. SSH if you know the port?
BTC should be used as payment. If he uses a BTC tumbler every time, is he on the safe side?
He wants to buy a Tor router with a KillSwitch and use it to connect to the internet. Is that safe?
If the server is found by the authorities, will the server be shut down directly or will they look around the server first? Will the server be taken directly off the net? I only ask because he wants to build a script that shuts down the server if e.g. google.de is not reachable (ping). This is to apply as a measure, if the server is first taken from the net, before they look around. The idea behind this is that its hard drives are encrypted and when the server is restarted everything would be encrypted again and you would have to enter the password to see the content. Usefull idea?
If the server, with bitcoin, is paid from a tumbler, ordered the server on a false name, when ordering and logging in to the provider always goes through the Tor browser, can you get to the owner?
He claims that he can secure servers well from intruders. How do I hack the server without knowing the server address? Is it possible?
He told me that you don't have to or shouldn't use a database like MySQL. His idea was to build a text file based database. Good idea or wasted time?
What does he have to do to be completely anonymous, what does he have to consider?
Have you had any experience with this?
