Making Money With My Blog?

Hey all.

I bought a blog about 6 months ago for $1000. It was not making money but I saw the potential as it has almost 1000 blog posts.

Most of the traffic is from pinterest and some are from Google. I'm getting around 200-300 visitors a day.

It is in the bikini diet and fitness niche, however, I'm struggling to make money with it. I had a banner on the sidebar which only made me one sale since and no one is accepting me for display ads.

I have tried monumetric, Adsense and media.net but just got rejected. Any ideas on how to make money with this blog? All ideas are greatly appreciated. Cheers

PS: I started a list and got 150 subscribers so far. I have not been able to make money from this list yet.

Banners are losing touch. I'm not advising putting banners unless you're at > 10 000 monthly users at all. Even if you're around 10k your ad earnings are likely to be insignificant.

Try finding a siutable offer on sites like Clickbank and adapting it to your site, by creating hooks and upselling it to your users. There's a ton of diet-related products on Clickbank.

Affiliate marketing is the best choice for your blog right now imo.

Find out why you got rejected in adsense and try again, 1000 posts you say then just add few strong backlinks on your homepage yiu should see insane traffic and then sell sponsorsed posts to make money

How much new content have you added?
Have you added any videos?
Which social media channels have you created accounts on?

This is the time of year when people overindulge at ThanksGiving and Christmas, then announce for the New Year their resolution is to get fit.
"bikini diet and fitness niche" is the ideal time to start ramping up your efforts for the next 6-8 weeks especially.
