Making money with micro niche websites

Hey there. I saw alot of offers in marketplace, where I can buy a pre-built micro niche for 30-45$.

The question is: Are they as good as they sound? Set and forget, perhaps adding some backlinks from time to time?can I turn a profit from them? What extra work I'm supposed to do?

I've never bought them, but I wouldn't expect a whole lot out of them. In fact, I'd imagine that they would require a lot of work.

In a word NO.

Set one up yourself using wordpress and save the $$$. You will also avoid the risk of having hidden code and links embedded in the site they make for you.

Let me as you a question - If you were able to create an item that would make you 100$/month for life, with no effort required, would you really sell it for one-time payment of 49$?...

BHW changed into another warrior forum-clone over past few years, with people selling shit wrapped in nice packaging (fancy sales letters) - if they knew their micro websites service would work, they wouldn't sell them.

I bought one domain. I already had VPS. Insurance Niche. I created categories "Car Insurance" "Travel Insurance"... Added about 10 articles for each category. I founded useful articles and spinned them with spinbot.com... Instaled AIO SEO and added sitemap to Webmaster Tools. Does this going somewhere or I just loosing my time? I did not added a google adsense yet but I plan to do that if I hit 1000 visits per day. Is this possible?

P.S Don't buy microniche websites. Go to google adwords and search for keywords. That create your website with WP.

I bought two on the market place just as a learning experiment as its all new to me.
I am waiting on the seller to setup the content. If I get something good out of it, I will try
to learn what worked. If I get nothing, I will just chalk it up as a lesson learned.

FYI: You can also buy premade niche sites on Fiverr.

I'm not promoting them, just pointing it out. If you want to spend money, spend as little as possible. Hope is works out for you.

I think there should be some really good threads out there... Also some success stories with them... But people don't want to share their success much and keep them to themselves imo...

On a serious note OP you will be better to buy the keywords tool you need on fiverr for $5 and build your own micro niche, but don't expect quick and magic result it will take time and work

its not a scam but it is overhyped, I think that's a fair assessment.

what you are getting is a quick ready made site for not a huge amount of money. fair enough.

you don't know what keywords it will be focussed towards, or how the onsite structure is going to be created and I don't think you have much latitude in demanding certain things for that price.

could you do better yourself? if you know what your doing then absolutely you can. its all a learning process.

but are these sorts of sites a scam. no not really they are just sites. you get what you pay for.

Paying for them to be built is ok but they require ongoing seo and that is where people fall down with them.... don't expect it to stay ranked long if nothing is done to it.

I think that publishing few new articles at least once a week is very important... If google see that nothing happen on your website for a while it will go down on search result

In order to get traffic with those keywors (high competition) you should make a lot of seo.

What about refferal traffic for this websites? I have 5 IP and Domain lookup websites And I can deliver about 200-300 real visits from google on my insurance blog per day. Will google adsense bans me?? I know this is not targeted visits but should this work???
