Making Money with Free Downloads???

Ok, I have an nice amount of digital product that I own and I wanted to know how I could motorize it by giving it away for free? I know there are ways but I really want to stay away from those survey sites because those piss me off and if they piss me off I can only imagine what others feel like. I will be using YT and my personal Website.

My personal website I will give them away for free to build my email list which will help later down the road. I have been looking around to see what I can find but I am unsure where to go with this and I was hoping that someone that has done so could point me in the right direction and what not to do. I would like to learn from someone else mistakes so that I do not waste more time.

it will be down to how many daily installs you have. A good way today to monetize software is via toolbar installation. But note that to make any decent money you will need more than 1000 daily installs.

Another important fact (just like with adsense) is where your installations are coming from, 1000 from the USA will generate money, 1000 from India much much less.
