Hey guys whats up, this might be something out of the ordinary but I just got ahold of my grandmothers garage and I'm allowed to use it for anything. I was thinking why not make some money. I am not allowed to rent it out. I was thinking flipping craigslist items like appliances and storing them in there until they are bought. The reason I make this thread is for ideas on what to do with my empty garage, and how to profit from it. I live in NY so population is heavy. Thanks

You got any money to invest? If so, how much is electricity up there? Could build yourself a little mining farm inside there and mine some cryptocurrencies. If you don't want to go that route I'd think what you have mentioned is a great idea. There's no reason you couldn't do it, and since you live in NY you'll be able to turn things over quickly. I actually know a dude that used to literally drive around on garbage night and pick up random nice looking items and furniture that people were throwing away. He was selling it on CL for basically 100% profit since it was put out to the curb. We live in south Florida and people have a little money down here so they throw away all kinds of stuff that's perfectly fine still he'd say. Anyway though, he made a nice little chunk of change doing that. He was able to pay for his condo, car payment, and other bills. He wasn't going to retire off of it anytime soon, but I think you should definitely give it a shot and see how it goes. There's money to be made for sure.

Since I'm a fitness guy, I would probably set up a little, friendly gym with some simple, low-impact classes (like yoga, zumba, etc). I have a friend that does it, and of course it is hard work but he doesn't have much trouble staying fit and he also makes some money.
Good to know my garage can do that...

Use her garage to store all of the clutter from your place, leaving your home/office very tidy and freeing your mind to worry about other things rather than organization.
