Making money through Email marketing or cold calling

A little backstory
I am learning and building wordpress site. I have failed in one website and right now trying my hands on affiliate website. Till now I haven't gone any success maybe because I don't have money to invest back on site.
"We need money to make money"
So, yesterday an idea came to my mind for earning some temporary money.
I will approach people or shops or small business through Google business and just dial. By doing this I will have lot of phone numbers and emails.
Then I will approach them and tell them benefits about social media marketing or having an website and tell them we will make and grow your Instagram, Facebook, twitter, snapchat and will build your website for your business.
And then I'll outsource all the work to fiverr or Upwork. and this is how I will try to earn some money through commission.
So guys, what do you think? Can it be done? Any advice or your thoughts?

You may just want to buy a list of emails and numbers in your target area and blast them with a mail merge from Outlook. Less time and effort on your part. Just a thought.

Do Social Media Marketing and research audience and target the right audience through email blasting.

Try it out on a smaller scale (50-100 mails) to see if you're targeting people with similar interest. I'd suggest to stay in touch with a well vetted seller just so you won't mess up the order.

This is a great strategy and I think it will work.

Your biggest hurdle is going to be marketing and closing deals. I mean I receive bunch of emails from my work email regarding web development, SEO, and all that stuff.

Gotta get creative with your marketing tactic though. Best of luck!
