That's true. I've been thinking on re doing what worked previously, but honestly feels like it worked more like suddenly striking a vein of gold, than a process that didn't involve luck. But I guess I could pay more attention to it anyway.

I honest to God don't see it as talking down to myself. I've just always considered being realistic regarding myself, but if it sounds so much like talking down to myself, I could take a look on that on a deeper level.

Thank you for saying that. I've wanted to do some VA work but fiverr is kind of saturated and I'd have to wait a while, to be able to buy jr vip and promote my services here, but it's something that I'd really like to do.

I can't code, I can make few basic modifications on existing scripts but mostly on aesthetics. I've tried to learn some python and it's like putting a triangle through a square hole.

To answer your question about a working method, I would recommend some sort of reselling. Resell services that you can buy here on the marketplace (or anywhere else) to people who may need them. The best place to start imo would be the "Misc" section in the marketplace. Find a reliable service and then market it to people who may need it via email, phone, social media etc.

Reselling is an old-school business model and it's not going anywhere. You seem to be willing to work hard and put in the time so there's no reason why it won't work. If you think out of the box, you can definitely kill it with reselling.

I hadn't thought about reselling and it's a really good idea. I'll check some services here and try to think a way to promote them.

Yeah, I'm really willing to work as hard as it's needed, to at least cover my expenses for a whole month. I'll get on it right now. Thanks for the suggestion.

for starters, don't cast yourself as a victim in any way. regardless of whether it's true or not that you are stupid, you need confidence to get anywhere with IM, so it doesn't help you at all to say this to yourself, and definitely doesn't help you to say it out loud. you already got the persistence part down, so start working on changing your mental mantra from "i'm too stupid to understand this" to "i know i can do this, i just need to make sense of it".

you're asking for help. the waste collector isn't asking for help. this forum is for sharing marketing ideas. the waste collector is not looking to share ideas. you are comparing two scenarios that aren't anything like each other.

@sapphirestar is absolutely right: you are not ready to listen, you just want a spoon-fed solution.

Have you already tried with fiverr?
Here in the marketplace there are several services for "getting" reviews, and also once seen a database of less competitive niches in the misc section of marketplace.

On Fiverr there are a lot of jobs that people pay just because they don't want to/don't have time that are basically the same as a VA, maybe getting some reviews will help you in getting seen.
Also one of the best part of Fiverr is the multiple gigs part, people are searching for stuff like "moderator for Twich" and "moderator for Discord" for example, but what is different? They're mostly the same, but people search those differently and obviously don't search Discord if they want Twitch.
The thing is that when you choose a job you have to try thinking about how many types of people would want that service, don't offer "moderator" or "VA" but at the beginning offer a more specific subniche such as "Discord Mod" and then another gig with "twitch Mod" and use all the gigs for that.
I don't know the competition level for those examples, I've tried Fiverr in the past but I left (still have an account but don't have much will to return there as I work on other stuff) so this is just a random example, but anyway the tip is trying to fill all the gigs you have and don't go with the general job type (Moderator/VA/writer) but maybe use a gig for the general part and the other for the same gig geared toward a specific group, even if you do exacly the same: people want the perfect fit for them often, they'll choose "Discord mod" over "mod" a good amount of times, because of the more specific need.

Another thing that I used was also a Chrome extension for making the page reload after a set amount of seconds, on Fiverr there's also the option "filter for online gigs" so if you're always online you have more chances, but in this case it's the extension that constantly reloads the page and make you appear online even if you're not.

See on YouTube, there are lots of people making money from their trained monkey, trained parrot, etc and their videos get lots and lots of views and hence good income too.
