Making money is simple!

Making money isn't simple, it takes dedication and hard work.

If it was easy, 95% of the world wouldn't be broke :P

Well easy =/= simple :)
I even said in my post
The work isn't always easy, but that's your choice.
All it takes is a good idea and the will to stay committed. I think that's pretty simple.

sounds very easy but for most of the people out there it is very hard. simple saying but its not as easy as you make it out to be.

Lately, more often than ever, I've been understanding that saying 'seek and you shall find.' If you don't look for opportunity, it doesn't appear to you. If you don't act to take the opportunities you seek, somebody more self-confident and work-centric will. Believe in yourself, you're the biggest factor in every method you stumble upon.

Well said OP, and add this for your success.

1. Identify the most important thing you have to do today.

2. Decide to do just the first little part of it ? just the first minute, or even 30 seconds of it. Getting started is the only thing in the world that matters.

3. Clear away distractions. Turn everything off. Close all programs. There should just be you, and your task.

4. Sit there, and focus on getting started. Not doing the whole task, just starting.

5. Pay attention to your mind, as it starts to have urges to switch to another task. You will have urges to check email or Facebook or Twitter or your favorite website. You will want to play a game or make a call or do another task. Notice these urges.

6. But don?t move. Notice the urges, but sit still, and let them pass. Urges build up in intensity, then pass, like a wave. Let each one pass.

7. Notice also your mind trying to justify not doing the task. Also let these self-rationalizing thoughts pass.

8. Now just take one small action to get started. As tiny a step as possible.

9. Get started, and the rest will flow.

For those who want a ready made step-by-step method, I'd say that there are plenty of those things lying around, but you're probably not going to profit ANYTHING from it because of your "want all of it free and done for completely" mentality... You probably have 100s of those ebooks downloaded on your PC and you never read them after downloading! Right? So get to this now:

Life never gives you anything in a step-by-step manner. Sink those words into your soul. You were born and that was probably the last time nature helped you get it done step by step! Then you learned getting the free feeding, learned sitting, walking, whatever. Your parents loved you and gave you everything, but they never taught you how to get the money to buy those toys. They gave you education and probably taught you good manners. All those things you got were free, but without the knowledge of how to get those things step-by-step. You took it for granted... getting things without knowing how to get them step-by-step.

When the time came for you to take responsibility finally and get things -- you're in panic. You know that the "thing" is lying there in front of you, but now you don't know how to extend your hands and grab it!!! You never learned how to initiate things to get to the goal and achieve it. Getting this at least? Most probably you don't, because your next question to this will be explain how to get this understood in step by step manner...

You still have a chance, my dear friends! You simple need to learn how easy or hard it was to make money for your parents... but they still made it, didn't they? Go to that level and try to understand what made money to come to them (in whatever amounts). Apply it to yourself, and apply it with a passion now and apply the principles of such IDEAS that are given to you free by members who don't even know if you exist on this planet. At least thank them or at least yourself to have come across such ideas LUCKILY! Luck sometimes gives you second chances, but why not grab the first opportunity you find without giving the second chance to luck to help you again, if at all it will?

In life, you need to change levels constantly and get focused knowledge from those levels... Knowledge creates opportunities.

Get working on the idea and create your own step by step plans, and then work them... once you do that (begin work), you will find help come to you mysteriously! Try it before your Luck moves on to another person!

Get it done... if you can.

This is absolute horse manure! Tell us all how to make money step by step with clear instructions, not some lame mumbo jumbo. :irked:
I gave you -17 reps (neg) for that low attitude towards someone who is trying to help people like you, AND especially for showing it graphically through that sh!tty-smiley. Nothing shall help you ever with such low attitude towards helpful people. So better learn from this experience... You won't have too many chances in life if you don't change your attitude first. Said the same thing in the negative rep comment, and of course, I signed it so you know who gave it to you. :)

Also,
You are freshly new on this great forums. You need to sit back and see how others are using it. Flow with the tide and not against it when you're new into it, or there is a danger that you won't survive it for long.

So, no disrespect, but you claim to know the way to become rich?

In theory this sounds awesome (really) but have you achieved this?

And here is how you get rich:

  1. Find something to trade
  2. Pay for a big advert
  3. Make the trades
  4. Profit
  5. Pay someone else to repeat steps 1-4 for you

As the OP is offline atm, I will try to answer this. If the same question is asked to me, I would say it's irrelevant. It's irrelevant because, and I will continue from my earlier post here (The bigger one

), that people who taught you good things in life and showed you a path to take in life, never disclosed if they were rich or poor themselves. Think of your parents to begin with, your family friends, your teachers, even your enemies who made you learn survival... they may have been poor in life at that particular point in time, but they KNEW what creates real riches in life (hence they were in a position to guide you through words and deeds). Learn from the wise words and not from the bank balances they could be having then, or not having then. Money isn't stable, its flow in life is very erratic for almost all people on this planet, but Wisdom is stable and always grows with time.

Take it this way: Your Geography teacher never possibly left the state ever, but that didn't stopped him from knowing our world and systematically teaching you how great it is! Your English teacher was never awarded the Medal of English literature, but he or she gave you her 100% efforts and made you understand the language so that you can survive in this dog-eat-dog job-world. Your parents were not the richest in this world, but they still gave you the best in life that they could. They probably slept many hungry nights so that you could be well nourished and do wonders in this world later on... it's endless, but you get the point.

Make the words work for you, why wonder how those worked for others? Will they help you sleep well or bring food to the table for you and your dependents?

The right questions illuminate the path around us. At least they make us think -- in the right directions... the wrong wastes time, and life and the time to make things happen is too short, isn't it?

P.S.:
I'd rehearse all those lines in my mind first. I will make them work in mind first. I'll be rich in my mind first... AND I am first thankful to the one who gave me something important to work on atm. God bless him/her for doing that...

Then I WILL begin working my mind to achieve what it is holding for me there...

That's the basics (for me) to become rich in life. That's the enlightening guidepost (for me) that shows me where to go from here... that's the way my humble soul grasps on the proverbial straw that helps me make dreams happen.

That Shall Be if I make them happen... Simple way for a simple me!

I really appreciate all the input going into this thread and I'm glad to see so many insightful opinions being posted here, especially srb888, well said dude! I totally agree with you.

I think there is one question in particular that deserves an answer, and I'm sure it has been on almost everyone's mind when they read this thread:

So, no disrespect, but you claim to know the way to become rich?
In theory this sounds awesome (really) but have you achieved this?

I want to just refer back to a few things that have been said, that will hopefully give a better to answer this question, and I am totally aware that it can be answered simply with either a yes or a no.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Getting rich is not only a journey but a relative term in my opinion. I only used the words "You can get rich" in my original thread because I believe there is limitless potential for the 5 steps I listed. You can be rich in India with a $1000 salary, whereas in the US, this number is the lower side of middle class. It's relative. Finally, I know what my plan to get rich is, as srb888 wisely pointed out:

You need to HAVE A PLAN. Be rich in your mind first. I know what my journey is, the steps I listed are working for me, and I will keep working at them until I feel that I am sufficiently rich.
I hope that clears some things up. :)

Treeofl1 and srb888, you guys both have the right mindset. This is how to approach things in life. I thank both of you for these wise words, it was worth reading it. And to anybody talking the talk: Let them talk. :)

Well I commend you on this thread, as I too share many of the same thoughts on your perspective of Life and this term "rich".

To be honest I didn't ask you if you had achieved how to become "rich" to be negative nor to inquire about your financial status and accomplishments, but rather to see your response and how YOU defined what being "rich" entailed.

I not only agree that what is rich in a village area in Cambodia most certainly isn't necessarily so in Beverly Hills , or any other locale for that matter. The point being what one defines as "rich" is NOT necessarily what another does. So for me when I hear and read certain things I am curious to know what is ACTUALLY meant by the source vs. my interpretation of what I think one may mean. (thus the purpose of the direct question in response to your thread...)

This piece/thread you have written clearly goes far above and beyond any monetary measurements of "richness".

I always say and strive to be not just rich , but wealthy... and in EVERY sense of the way.
In that, first and foremost by defining my own definitions of thought and philosophy while obviously embracing those outside of my own which I find of value.

I totally agree that 'getting rich' is not a journey, at least a true journey. The true Journey is this Life and all there within it. I recognize that ...and I am actually VERY grateful to not only have the opportunity to participate in this journey, but much more to be alive and awake (most of the time at least LOL..)

Surely, your words of advice resonate and go along way to be used in a multitude of ways.

In short appreciated...

Thanks

I like the advice and it's pretty simple and self explanatory. Even though is simple it took me a long time to get out of the "make money fast" idea and understand the core of making money on any field (whether online or offline). Nice share

Srb888,

Thanks for your words and intentions.

Perhaps I could have went more into detail as to why I asked such a direct (and obvious...) question to the OP.

I hope in asking that question no one in the thread received it as challenging or in opposition to the OP's sentiments and intention. DEFINITELY was NOT intended to be so,nor where I was coming from.

By the same token, I ask questions and NEVER assume I KNOW where another is coming from entirely. Yes, it was obvious that his message was /is one of sound advice be it with respect to making money and/or making headway in this Life.

i'll share something with you(all):

After losing both my Mother and Grandmother last year, one to old age (94) and the other to cancer (66), many of the things you mentioned in your response to my question resonate more than EVER with me in my Life at this time, as I am left alone (without their physical presence that is...) and adjusting , yet left bestowed with a lifetime and wealth of TRUE riches giving to me from since the time I was a little boy, up to that last moment as I literally placed my hand over my Mother's heart watching and feeling her take her last breath as she transitioned.

As the days go by I am constantly reminded of that 'gold' that they gave me.

They were not "rich" people by far, but what I learned and inherited from them NO money can ever buy.

Yet still, in as much as the basics apply to ALL of us, it is still so a fact that we all will have our own experiences in how we arrive at that 'place' of happiness and 'richness' and in our own time, if we are so fortunate to do so.

In a nutshell I find that communication solves a great deal of confusion regarding where one may or may not be coming from. It is A solid tool against the short comings of our assumptions.

It's good to ask questions and thank God (or whatever one believes in...) we live in a place and time (those of us who do that is...) where to exercise this right is not considered heresy and EVEN if so, we are civilized enough to know that we ALL don't and won't act, move , talk , think, respond, receive things in clone like fashion.

In short,
Thanks for your words of wisdom as well.

Sincerely
:)

You guys need to put a TL;DR at the bottom of your text walls

Saving this thread and coming back later to actually read it lol. Looks interesting.

I commend the wise people in this thread. treeofl1 and srb888. You guys are truly wise. The wise people recognize other wise people. Your mindset is definitely right. Now lets get these riches. ;)

Making money isn't simple, it takes dedication and hard work.

If it was easy, 95% of the world wouldn't be broke :P

It actually is easy, but 95% of the world doesn't use common sense. Being rich starts with a mental conditioning of your mind. You need to start seeking and compiling data on psychology and then executing it and timing it out correctly. THEN, you can go find a product to sell.

Most people just want to dream instead of achieving the dream. It is easier to just simply go to work than to come up with a plan to make money. I see it on these forums all the time, I see it on other sites and even around my area.

The hardest part is mental conditioning because you need to begin construction on your thought process, emotions, reactions, motivations and regulating what you do and say consistently every second of the day. Once you get to this point, you can then begin to make money.

The days of working hard are over, and the days of working smart are now here. You can't simply work hard and make money, you need to work smart to make money. PPD + YouTube is a big joke for 3 reasons.
1. Multiple videos of the same crap vs a fluid video well created to actually sell the product (think infomercials).
2. Your fake upload vs something of real value (think like giving away your game or your tutorial via a download).
3. Lack of imagination (get creative and make people want to fill out a survey, give them benefits and know their emotional triggers to make them want to act now).

I see ZERO skill involved in the current PPD + YT craze. If people could execute solid psychology + timing then they wouldn't need to worry about new videos, new scams, new niches, etc. I think that COMMON SENSE just is a rarity and isn't common anymore.
