Making Money from Pinterest or Instagram?

I did make a few thousand $$ sending traffic from my pinterest to my website monetized with adsense. It required a lot of work back then that it worked for me.
You could try sending traffic from pinterest to your site.
While on Instagram all I presently do is sell my own products I have 258k followers. Presently, reach and engagement are quite low and I don't know why, but there are a few conversions here and there.
So, you could do what I did(or am doing). With instagram you monetize by selling shootouts and promo or your products, while with pinterest you have to send the traffic to your where you either sell your own products or monetize with ads.
It's been a few years I left Pinterest so can't tell how things going on over there at the moment.

Never tried Instagram with any success. I tried Pinterest back in 2019, art niche and AdSense website in the same niche, for every 100k views on a pin I got only 100 website visits.
I was earning very little from it, the only thing good is that after a while, all the pins you published will start getting more and more impressions at some point, and the earning will get gradually better each day,
but don't expect to earn much from it, at least from AdSense monetization only.
