Making money during day job

Hi.
I have been recently promoted. My new position pays me around 2500$ per month. I hate it because it's boring as hell, zero responsibility and accountability, and my boss doesn't care about anything I do.

So instead of getting depressed like all the other chumps, I thought I'd invest my free time in increasing income via im.

I have my own distant office and an Internet access though we're not allowed to sign in any service or social networks.

Can you please list the most obvious steps I should take in order to properly use this time in these conditions?

P. S I'm already writing this post from the toilets, so don't suggest that one. B-)

Well first things first, if you need unrestricted internet access, root your phone and get an app to tether via wifi. It may be slow, but you wont have to worry about getting in trouble for anything.
 
Install logmein on your home PC and do everything through that from your work PC ..... That's what I'm doing right now.

PS - what job pays 2.5k, has zero accountability and responsibility, provides a distant office and has a boss that doesn't care what you do ....... sounds like my kinda job !!!
 
Follow the folowing steps to achieve financial freedom my friend:)
Step 1.Take all ur monthly income
Step 2.Invest the income in PPC
Step 3.Test and test and test and test again
Step 4.Double or triple ur invested money
Step 5.Quit job
Step 6.Enjoy IM moneys.:)
 
sign up some affiliate networks such as clickbank, commission junction, find some products you are familiar with and promote them with any means you already knew. And most importantly, learn as much as you can about IM. Take actions instead of thinking.
 
So you're getting $30,000 a year before tax with zero responsibility and accountability? It almost sounds like fee money to me, what the hell are you complaining about? Just be grateful you have a job, there are a lot of people out there who do not.
 
1. Learn Personal Finance(If you don't do this first it doesn't matter if you are working for someone else or working for yourself)
2a. Save up Money
2b. Learn about IM
3a. Start some IM basics
3b. Do IM as a hobby and put the earnings from that both into a special fund as well as increasing IM business
4. Once you are earning at least $2500 a month then quit your job

I got promoted to a new position which is not well defined. I worked very hard to get promoted but this job simply sucks in terms of what I actually do. This is a large agency after all and I'm trying to find a better post. Until then I wanna make a better use of my time. If I can get some extra coin while at it then why the hell not?

Do some keyword research and purchase a domain related to it. Either a EMD or non-EMD. Get a VPS, sign into it, run Senuke XCR/Scrapebox/write content for your sites, rank, profit.
 
Get VPS and connect to it using VPN. Do all the work from there.
OR
as guys suggested use your phone tethering and skip the VPN part (using VPN can raise some alarms with your internal IT department).
 
Perhaps you should start a small eCommerce business on the side. Look at eBay or having your own store.

When you get home from work, print out invoices & pack your items you sell. Post them in the morning on your way to work.

Sure winner.
 
I must say that judging by the comments and various PM i received it seems most people here see 2,500$ as ALOT of money.

I realize this is because most readers here are either very young (14-15 year old boys) or come from very poor countries.

I work in Tel Aviv which is one of the most expensive cities in the world. 2,500$ is slightly above the average salary in Israel and frankly it is barely enough to live well in this city. I want to make at least 4k per month.
 
This post make me realized that no matter what a person have, end of the day he is not satisfied with anything and that's true.!
