I have a great deal of experience on these sites, In fact, in 2008 I generated over $500,000 on them (including about $50,000 to BonusNetwork.)
Most of the networks offer daily payouts. And most of them will pay one a single "green." A green is usally worth $40, but on some networks they are as much as $50.
The three biggest tips I would give you are as follows:
1. Look for sites that pay daily. Many do now. They ALL pay through Paypal, most without fees.
2. Look for sites that have a lot of offers (Git-r-free has over 500!) that credit well. (at least 30% of offers don't credit.)
3. Talk to the owners of the sites and build a relationship. They will overlook issues on your folks, and help smooth issues out. And trust me, there are lots of issues.)
From what all the owners tell me, I was the top money earner in the industry. My business model was simple: recruit people to "work from home" for me. I paid them for every "green" on time every time. I emailed them new offers daily. I offered video training, phone support, contests, etc.
The #2 guy from what folks tell me was a MLM guy. He allowed folks to jojn the MLM by doing offers, and then they recruited fols to do the same.
The #3 guy made youtube videos, and drove traffic that way.
The forums truly suck. 90% of the people in there want to pay you to green, so you are in there competing with those 90 people to get 10 newbies to go green for you. As soon as the noob has been there 2 days, they become a trader like you! Now its 91 trying to catch 9!
I can tell you the industry is on the decline. All of the offers on these sites allow the offer to be incentvized, and therefore have ton of cancellations. They offers shave like hell (or dont credit) and then most of the freebie sites shave even more. Many of the offers have hidden offers, and dont let you cancel (phones dont get answered, etc.)
While many of my "employees" made good money, there are only so many offers, so it cant really be a long term gig - plus they all get burned eventually. All thats fine if you business model is okay with that, but part of why I made so much was because my approach was not to burn people.
I finally had to make the decision to shut my site down, as I couldt feel good about what was happening on the offers. Like I said, Im okay with most BH stuff, but when I am recruiting someone, talking to them on the phone, training them, and they get scammed for $1000 - just not my cup of tea.
PM me if anyone wants the names of the best networks and their owners. Or if youd like more advice on the industry, etc.
