Hi all

I was just thinking today whether this is a good idea. Everybody knows the rule that traffic = money and Livestreams = people currently watching (traffic that is currently online). There are thousands if not millions of livestreams currently going on as you're reading this with tens and hundreds and thousands of current viewers.

So my dilemma is how can I "steal" traffic from Livestreams and convert that traffic into Ad network clicks for example Direct/Smart link from Monetag or Adsterra?

For example I comment something in the LIVE that will make a lot of people DM me and then I transfer those people to click my direct link that will lead them to an Ad and will bring me money.

Please let me know what you think of that and if you think it will work or not

Most of profitable streamers already have mods taking care of spam comments. They will delete your comments and or ban you. You will need to find live streams with no mods. Very hard thing to do.

If a streamer is big enough to make that a viable operation, they have mods which will instantly delete anything against their rules. It's not gonna work.

It's a bad idea to spam live streams as there are multiple downsides like your account may get banned, people won't show much interest to leave the live stream, people may find you annoying after a while, etc. Even if you manage to get DMs, it's a bad idea to share links in DM as the platform may ban your account for spamming. It's better to take users outside the platform and then find ways to monetize them.

Thats why im asking about suggestions for any smart comments for example like you ask for help or something and people start to DM you and then you redirect them to the direct link

exactly thats what i mean. My idea is to take them out of platform and then monetize them. I need ideas about that.

Yeah it’s definitely more than IP—device fingerprint and behavior too. That’s why most multi accounts get flagged.

Maybe you could put your profile or even your name directly into what you have to offer so that you can showcase yourself just by chatting on the live channel

The bigger question for me as someone also figuring out traffic sources is whether the intent of a livestream viewer actually matches what ad networks are paying for someone watching a gaming stream or a cooking live is in consumption mode not buying mode, so even if you get the click the conversion quality might be too low to make the CPM worthwhile.
