Making money, but how do I take the next step?

Hello fellow blackhatters,

I've been a member of the forum for about two years now I've tried a couple of methods which means that I have a least taken action, but I failed miserably mainly because I have not been disciplined enough, my attempts have not lasted more than couple days.

So last week, I got a little angry at myself, for being such a lazy ass, so I took action, not really following any methods but just playing it by ear and doing something with what I've learned here.

So I created a website (in which I didn't work more than an hour) and slapped some ads on it. Then I proceeded to create some social accounts to drive traffic to my site. No, 11 days later I am averaging $3 a day on ad revenue and I have made around $10 with a CPA offer.

Here's the thing though:

- My site sucks, it's horrible, it doesn't even have a logo.
- I know things could be done so much better, if I only knew where to start.
- My site gets around, 1k - 2k UVs a day.
- Right now I'm only relying on social signals, mostly getting traffic from a single network.

So, pretty much I need some guidance, to know where to start, any tips or recommendations, I know this can work but I just don't know where to start.

I scrape it off the Internet.

First of all there are plenty of threads on here that talk about how to get traffic and make a quality website. Just search the forums. If your site looks bad then just search google for free PSD templates and use them to make your site appealing. You don't have to be a graphic designers to make good designs. Learn basics of Photoshop and use free templates (also see download sections). You can also use Wordpress themes, of which there are plenty on this forum.

This is a learning process for you and you will have to learn things on your own if you want to do it really well. The good thing is that you are already seeing money from this. I'd suggest spending some time reading posts about making 'Authority sites'. Just don't give up and it will really work for you in the long run. Good Luck !

As cliche as this sounds, content is king. You're going to want to build website so that it's completely original and people will want to come back to it. You don't want an unoriginal website if you have 1,000 to 2,000 uniques. They're all going to go to waste with a bad website. If you really want to start earning some serious money then you need to evolve with the mindset knowing that quality will always prevail and win.

Try to improve the look of your website outsourcing the design on fiverr OR find free wordpress premium themes and find someone to draw the logo. (everybody has a friend with knowlegde to draw nice things)
Try to focus in the keywords to get some traffic from the search engines.
Focus in good content. Everybody loves good content (google including).
The social media pages need to be good as your website.

These have been my stats since I started doing this.

If you can get more visitors I would do as chrlie said.
Try to get more original/unique content. If website is viralnova type of site this can be hard. In that case I would just grab content from multiple different similar sources.
Add signup to website and hopefully people will return on their own. But it won't be easy especially on the start. But it's possible.
