Making money as a video editor in 2020?

Hi There, hope you guys are doing fine.
So since I got a lot of time now during this crisis I've thought why not offer some video editing service via upwork / fiverr etc.

I have a pretty good knowledge when it comes to video editing, been doing it now for about 5 years (4 years with premiere pro) but never earned a penny, since I never tried! I see a ton of competition on UpWork and Fiverr even though most are not top notch quality, about 10% is definitely incredibly good!

Have you guys got any tips where to start or beginners mistake with being a freelancer on UpWork/Fiverr (or which platform I should prefer) LMK some tips if possible!

make your LinkedIn as professional as possible, put your portfolio there, than out in fiver or upwork, than you need some review, you can buy this or ask for help from friend. Use LinkedIn to promote your service, and say you can use fiver upwork as middleman.
