I keep hearing that many people try different tactics to make money online, but that most are not created for the long-term.

I am a newbie but want to learn on how to start working to make money for my future. I am not asking for the secret to make money, because I know that with hard work results will come. All I am asking for is to know what are different ways people set-up there business for the long run.

Are Micro Niche adsense sites considered long term? What about doing CPA campaigns with Media buys and adwords?

I have so much to learn, better yet, so much to try out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thats right - long term white hat blogs with good content will earn forever.

besides you can create ebooks/software/web services in evergreen niches

    microniche sites are not longterm

The rules of IM are constantly changing. Huge white hat sites are not the answer. The Panda update wiped them out. Webmasters who were living off of one site were/are screwed. No method will last forever because things change too fast.

Find a method that works today. When things change, change your method and keep going.

While I agree that your efforts should be dynamic, I would disagree that white hat sites are not the answer for the long term. Unique content that is regularly updated will always have a place in the puzzle.

I do agree that you can't put all of your eggs in one basket(site or method). You should have multiple paths that can earn you money so that when there are are changes, your entire cash flow won't collapse.

    yeah for example:

create 1 WH blog with CPA, 10 microniche sites for adsense/if you get banned - cpa, 1 membership site, 1 free affiliate marketing course all with CPA upsells and your golden.

when you get more money you can outsource some work for more WH sites.

find a niche that does not have tremendous competition, get professionals or professional writers to write comprehensive content that is useful for the readers, wait a few years while the content gets built up over time along with the site trust.

Lbrown is right here guys - large white hat sites are not the answer unless you have something of value to offer the user. This is coming from someone with a fair few white hat sites that were hit by the recent update. If you have money to invest in professional writers (like McCullum said above) then you can get a lot of natural links from authority sites, but do you have enough money to afford them?

Good to hear from you again. Is the 2740perday method still recommended by you?

The crappy part about long term money, mainly white seo is that it takes time and no one likes waiting :(

Long term money requires intelligence, patience, investment, and more patience. But if you're a grown up and you don't want to spend all day e-whoring or thinking up Craig's List scams, and want to build an actual business, it's the way to go.

if you're wanting a long term strategy you got to look at building an authority website in a non competitive niche..

you'll want your site to be more then a 1 page site of even a 10 page site, you want it to be QUALITY with 100+ pages.

Price comparison sites and coupon sites are hot on the market at the moment with good potential for long term income along with short term income as well. But again people expect quality sites these days so keep pumping good content and links to it and you'll be on the road to long term income
