Making links look like twitter pics & instagram links

    Hey guys,

    Everytime I go on twitter I see people shortening their ppc links and making them look like twitter pic links and instagram links instead of them looking like bit links. Anyone know how this is done?

    It's done automatically by Twitter. You just paste a link into a tweet and it does it.

    Yeah, how is this done? I've seen it done many times with ChaCha.

    I know for sure it isn't done automatically by Twitter.

    It's not done by twitter and yeah I have seen it being used for ChaCha as well.

    Anyone know how?

    Done by bitly. Simple. its commonly used by mylikes for ppc

    Twitter has access to their web services api. I think it's available to the public as well: you post a query to a webservice and it gives you back a shortened url.
