So I do some xrummer blasts. How can I make G find out about them?
Is there a site I can paste lots of links and ping them?

Perhaps using a feed with the links?

You could download and run some ping software and do it yourself. Google for free url ping software, or find some here at BHW.

You could run Social Bookmarking Demon and bookmark the pages (lightly, maybe only 1 or 2 bookmarks per URL) using any of the top 20 or so bookmarking sites. Google tends to find the links pretty quickly (even if you Digg - despite the NoFollow).

SBD also has a URL pinger built in, I am told.

You could post the URLs on a blogger blog. Google crawls blogger like crazy. Stick to maybe 15-20 urls per post. You could add a little descriptive text before each url (to make it look more legit, and give the spider some more food) and use descriptive anchor text for the links. Blogger will still likely delete your blog after a few weeks - just make a new one and continue. Once Google has found the links, it doesn't matter what Blogger does...

You could get a wordpress blog (host it yourself, or go to Wordpress and get one hosted on their site) and put in a healthy ping list. Do the same as above - make posts of URLs you want crawled.

You could google "free wordpress blog" and then use ANY of those - again, if it lets you put in a ping list, you are good to go.

You could make some custom ping/RSS submission using Yahoo Pipes - there is plenty of info on the internet about making one of those. Then you would just keep adding URLs to the pipe, and they would all get submitted by Yahoo.

There are LOTS of ways...

Best Regards, Georgie :)

What ping software would you recommend and would the software be any
better than the free sites to ping your url to.
Thanks
B.

Thanks! For the moment, I will customize a php script that ping to ping a list instead on 1 url.

But something that I am not sure about is:
My list of ulrs is not a blog. If I ping them and the bots come, will they actually parse the contents since they are not a feed?

Thanks!

I like the idea of posting the URLs to a blogger blog. That's the most natural appearance of links. :)

The only problem with posting the links on a blog is that you may have 200.000 links :D
