Making first shopify shop

Hi guys! I try starting my first IM business, and start it with shopify store. In process, i have a lot of questions, and hope that you can help me!
1. Do I make a different description for every item?
2. How many items per one collection have is better? For example, womens tshirts
3. Do I need to use tags for items?

Welcome to the forum, I'll try to help as mush as I can .

1- Very recommended,you can't just use the shitty description you find on Aliexpress (if there is any). Try to find similar products to yours (specifications, colors, design...) from known brands and rewrite their description. Make sure what you write is actually describing your product.

2- It doesn't matter, but I recommend you start with 5-10 products and go from there. Keep your store updated.

3- Better do it since a lot of themes require tags to filter colors and sizes.

Why not WP + Woocommerce ? Check that option, before starting.

Doing different description for each item is overkill trust me, modify the basic description and add something new or copy paste it from someone else it doesnt matter.. it should only look professional and thats it.. it doesnt need to be unique, you dont do any seo or whatever so its absolutely pointless and overkill to get new and unique description for each item, you can get the description from web, i often use 50% same basic description on every product, that info is modified to be general to suit under all products and 50% aliexpress product info. It should just look professional, no need to overthink everything

1. Best if you do, Read a little about general SEO and google Trends - could give you a lot of information of how to pick best descriptions during different trends.
2. Depends on the products you want to add and the theme of your shop..
3. Think of it as you website filters - Always think how you would have wanted to be able to search and navigate to find the product you are looking for

Thanks for your replies! I have one more question, more dropshippers make on instagram 0 + shipping, so when i want to start this advertising, must to change only one item price on 0 and make the shipping for it ? Or this advertise campaign only for attention from customers?

its very difficult to make much profit with free+shipping. Even on instagram. Shoutouts are more expensive nowadays. If you are going to do a free+shipping offer on instagram. Do it with the intent to get the traffic to your website and to build a lookalike audience off the visitors to retarget with fb paid ads. If that makes no sense watch some of tristan broughtons vids on youtube.

Don't do tags unless you have a huge store or are running an advanced program that builds lookalikes. Tags are for way advanced programs that allow you to build custom conversions for pixel data specific to a product. Ex. Custom conversion= add to cart Purple Bear toy conversion
