You are not wrong, but he made the post really simple to follow and detailed.
He also responded to questions throughout the Topic and put both ref and non-ref links so I would not be too suspicious with him.
We have seen so many Threads clearly made to grab refs and this does not seem to be one of those.

Do you know of anyway to bypass the advertisement when you shorten your URL in linkn.co? I submitted into the Empireviews rotation, but I'm only receiving view counts for linkn.co and not triond.

Average is a bit more than 1$ per 1k views.
However, it depends on your niche as it will depend on the ads they put on it.
To give you an idea, I have received almost 13k views so far and I have collected 13,32$ so far.

I have done my 13k views in 12 months time without any "trick" and since the payout is very low I would not risk a ban for such a low profitable system.
