I have a couple of suggestions for your new IG bot.

First of all, I deeply believe that to stand out, the bot should be a smart bot meaning it should be able to collect data and analyse them and it should be a self learning bot.

My suggestions would be:

1. The bot should be able to measure followers activity and determine when the activity is maximal. When a predetermined threshold is reached the bot posts the content to ensure maximum exposure. Collection and analysis of data should make the bot able to act autonomously.

2. Following/unfollowing. The bot shouldbe able to follow likers and commenters of predetermined accounts.
Following activity should be accelerated right after content has been posted to maximize exposure to the newly posted image.
Ideally it will follow the likers and commenters of the freshest posts of user selected accounts and it could give priority to:
- the commenters who tags friends in the comments
- the comments done during the last 10-15 min
- the last likers

In order to make sure that the users are still on IG when the bot interacts with them.

Thanks to the data collected, the bot will be able to determine the profiles that have the highest chance to follow back and would give priority to those regardless of the user settings.

3. Hashtags

The user gives a list of keywords for each post. Then the bot generates a list of 30 hashtag related to this keywords.
Thanks to its self learning abilities, it is able to choose the hashtags where you have the chance to be on the top of the hashtag related page.
It makes sure that the hashtags are relevant by verifying that those hastags are often associated together by IG users.

Example:

I post a photo of a volcano in Iceland from my last travel. I give the bot Iceland, Volcano and Travel as keywords and it chooses from there the relevant hashtags given their difficulties and my past engagement.

4. Engagement group

Your bot, if well done, will surely be successful. Therefore it should integrate an engagement group totally automatized.
As you said, you want to integrate analytics which is a great idea. The user should precised his targets demographics. The bot checks the pool of clients and engages with the relevant accounts.
For example I want to increase my exposure to females in Brazil who like dogs, the bot picks up the best accounts using analytics and hashtags.

The future of bots, I guess, is by making them smart by collecting and analysing the data and then self learned.
