hey
i want to ask if making a web 2.0 blog with my link to main site is like making a backlink?
e.g
i make a web2.0 blog and then i make 3 posts to it with my link embeded, do i get a backlink from blogger or wordpress or weebly??

The idea is to get good (and some/many bad too :)) BLs to that web 2.0 site FIRST. It's like a buffer site to say.

P.S.:
Do the BL'ing to the buffer web 2.0 properties in a careful way, because from there the links (and the compiled link-juice) will have to go to the main site if it is on the first-tier especially.

yes you will get a backlink but how strong they will be is a different story.

i made 3 web 2.0 blogs on blogger with 2 articles each and still i don't have any backlink from them.. strange?
or
it depends on the traffic, if the web 2.0 has traffic then they become backlinks.

thank u for the reply. it explained nicely :)

Once you have created your backlinks, you need to index them. How do you check that, because I can see you saying its not showing?

Have you tried indexing them yet ? Which program did you use to check the backlinks? I'm using a few tools to check the backlinks, they are all showing different numbers. I also keep a spreadsheet of all the links I built, their URL and the anchor, I find its helpful to know which anchor had been used and on which site.

hey left loosey!
i am a newbie as well so i don't know how to index them. i have seen some free online sites which help in indexing. If you are a newbie as well , we can oin hands and start learning new things together. what u say?

The backlinks will not show until you will not index or wait for index them. :).
Check on ahrefs and majestic
thanks,

I suggest you read more about SEO and link building before you start building links. The web 2.0s won't impact your rankings at all unless you bolster them by building links to them using automated tools like GSA.

Of course you will get backlinks from blogger, wordpress and weebly. Just wait for index them.

i can't afford monthly fees...

You need a vps for all of your tools and you have to use proxies for GSA. If you don't then you will expose your real ip address and it could end up blacklisted or your hosting company will have a fit.

is there any tool to index the web 2.0s or any links and then check them if they are indexed?

Ok mate.

First thing first.

Index all your backlinks.
1. You can do this by using indexing service (paid) such as indexification
2. Or you can build more backlinks (most of the people do it by Blog commenting) to your existing backlinks (2nd tier) either by Software (Scrapebox, Gscrapper or GSA SER) or manually.
3. Check whether it is index in Google or not.

Check your backlinks.
There are many ways to do this. I show some popular ones:
Ahrefs and Majestic SEO - Paid Service. However it will be free to check your own website, just validate your site first,
Moz - There are 4 months trial available around, sign up and check the backlinks (not so efficient update)
Google Webmaster Tools

However ranking in Google is totally different story now, it involves high quality, authority contextual backlinks to get your site ranks. Web2.0 is a good way to start though.

Hope this helps.

That was really helpful my friend. I already got Scrapebox with me but i use it on personnel computer.
Is there any life time subscription tool for indexing backlinks?
and is there any site in which i check my backlinks or any software?

I bought a software which scrapes proxies from search engines and private sources so i guess proxies won't be a problem for me. But buying a Vps, well thats hard?
Can't i use it on my laptop?

what is wrong with the font lol.

You can totally run it on your laptop, but there is a risk that you can be banned from your ISP.

even with the proxies i use, will i be banned?

It totally depends on how hardcore you are using it.

GSA SER can be a big ass bandwidth sucker, if you are using too much, obviously, your ISP will drop you a notice regarding to that issue.
